Another solar unit is one that can be used to warm water throughout your home for showers, dishwasher, and everything else that uses hot water in your home. This has additional benefits to a home with little roof space. It is not considered a luxury item, so assistance from the government is available on water heating units. With the government’s assistance, the solar water unit is just a little more expensive, starting at about $5,000.

Solar Electric units can be used for all electric equipment in your home, like your television, computer, lights, stovetop, electric water heater and, in the near future, your electric car. Electric cars are expected to be mass produced and made to plug into regular outlets and with a solar unit on your home which lasts up to 40 years, soon enough you will be driving for free as well.
